Thick client WPF with Seibel working to unify applications, both old and new, into a small and ubotrusive interface. Heavy use of Prism and WPF. Styling controls and creating animations using XAML. Improving my grasp of threading issues, designing for speed and reuse.
Thin client ASP.NET with MVC 3 at night JQuery and CSS again pay us a visit. After designing and entire financial systems website in Silverlight 4, I was finally able to get the site to work on my Android phone. How did I do this? I rewrote the site in ASP.NET MVC with Entity First Framework. This involved removing dozens of SQL stored procedures and using linq. Silverlight with RIA was a good try, and I enjoyed it, but it looks like we are on the road to MVC for a fast, multi device reach.
